1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using App Locker Pro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of
Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
App Locker Pro is a security application that allows you to:
- Lock applications on your device with PIN, Pattern, or Biometric authentication
- Hide private files in a secure vault
- Capture intruder selfie photos on failed unlock attempts
- Disguise the app icon for additional privacy
- Prevent unauthorized app uninstallation
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Remembering your PIN or Pattern — we cannot recover lost credentials
- Maintaining backup copies of important files before hiding them in the vault
- Using the App in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Not using the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
⚠️ Important: If you forget your PIN/Pattern and have not set up a security email, you may
lose access to locked apps and vault files. The developer cannot bypass app security.
4. Permissions and Services
To provide its core security features, the App requires certain permissions:
- Accessibility Service API — Used solely to detect when a locked app is launched so the
lock screen can be displayed. We do not collect or transmit any data via this service.
- Usage Access — Required to identify foreground applications.
- Firebase Authentication — Used for secure account recovery and password reset services.
- Camera — Used for the optional "Intruder Selfie" feature.
- Storage — Required to manage the "Private Vault" where your files are hidden and
secured locally.
- Magic Features — Access to advanced privacy settings such as Icon Camouflage and Random
Keyboard.
All permissions are strictly used for app functionality and can be managed in your device settings.
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, logos, and content, is the intellectual property of App Locker Pro and
is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from
the App.
6. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any data loss resulting from vault file operations
- We are not liable for any unauthorized access to locked apps if the device is compromised
- We are not responsible for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App
7. Advertisements
The App may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Ad content is managed by Google and is subject
to Google's advertising policies.
8. Updates
We may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates may modify, add, or remove features. Continuing
to use the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to discontinue the App or any
feature at any time without notice.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the
developer operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Your
continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
