App Locker Pro — Last updated: February 2026

1. Information We Collect

App Locker Pro collects and stores the following information locally on your device only:

Security PIN/Pattern — Stored as a SHA-256 hash (not in plain text)
Security Email — Provided by you during setup for recovery purposes
Locked App List — Package names of apps you choose to lock
Intruder Selfie Photos — Front camera photos captured on failed unlock attempts (if enabled by you)
Vault Files — Files you choose to hide in the Private Folder are moved to the app's internal storage
App Settings — Your preferences (dark mode, biometric toggle, etc.)
Magic Features State — Preferences for Icon Camouflage and Random Keyboard (stored locally)

            🔒 All data is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, upload, or share any of
            your personal data with any server, third party, or external service.
        

2. Accessibility Service (Prominent Disclosure)

            Important: App Locker Pro uses the Accessibility Service API to provide its core
            functionality.
        

The Accessibility Service is used for the following purpose:

Detecting App Launches: To monitor when a locked app is brought to the foreground, allowing the App Locker to display the security screen and protect your privacy.

Strict Privacy Guarantee:

We do not use the Accessibility Service to collect or store any personal, sensitive, or user-identifiable data.
We do not read your screen content, monitor your typing, or track your interactions within other apps.
No data from this service is ever transmitted to a server or third party.

3. Usage Stats Permission

The App requires "Usage Access" permission to correctly identify which app is currently running. This is used solely to facilitate the app locking mechanism by determining if the foreground app is on your "Locked Apps" list.

4. Firebase Services

We use Firebase Authentication (a Google service) to facilitate secure account recovery. When you register a security email, it is managed through Firebase to allow for password reset functionality. Your email is handled according to Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Camera Usage

If you enable the "Intruder Selfie" feature, the app uses the front camera to capture a photo when someone enters an incorrect PIN/Pattern. These photos are stored locally only and are never shared or uploaded.

6. Magic Features

App Locker Pro includes "Magic" features such as Icon Camouflage and Random Keyboard. These features are designed to enhance your privacy and security. Any settings or preferences related to these features are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to external servers.

7. Advertising

App Locker Pro uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers and usage data. For more information, please see Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Data Deletion & Uninstallation

You have full control over your data. You can delete all locally stored data (vault files, intruder selfies, and settings) at any time via Settings -> Delete All Data. Since we do not store your personal data on our own servers, uninstalling the app also removes all local data associated with it. Advanced Protection (Uninstall Prevention): If you enable the "Advanced Protection" feature, the app will use the Device Administrator permission. This prevents unauthorized users from uninstalling the application. You can disable this feature at any time from the app's settings before uninstalling.

8. Children's Privacy

App Locker Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
